Refund policy
We understand how important and personal lighting decisions can be - and we are committed to helping you get it right, no matter what it takes.
Please inspect all orders within 48 hours of receipt.
ELIGIBLE RETURNS
We accept eligible returns for store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please contact our Support Team at support@newportlampandshade.com. We will provide a return shipping label for eligible returns.
- Item(s) must be in original, unused condition with their original packaging and packing slip.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Return shipping charges plus a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your store credit.
- Store credit is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
- Returns are processed within 3–5 business days of receipt.
- Do not send back orders without prior approval. Unauthorized returns will be sent back to the sender.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns for any item(s) that show signs of wear or use.
We do not accept returns of the following items: Special Orders, Made-To-Order Lampshades (including Fermoie), Stationery, Blankets, Pillows, Candles, Table Linens, Sale Items, or any discounted items.

We accept eligible exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Please contact our Customer Service team within 14 days of your delivery at support@newportlampandshade.com. We will provide a return shipping label for eligible exchanges.
- Eligible exchanges must be received within 30 days of purchase.
- Item(s) must be unused, in original condition, with packaging and packing slip.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Return shipping charges will be deducted from any remaining balance applied as store credit.
- Store credit is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
- Exchanges are processed within 3–5 business days of receipt.
- Unauthorized exchanges will be returned to the sender.
- Exchange requests may be refused if the item(s) shows signs of wear or use.
DAMAGED AND INCORRECT ORDERS
All orders must be inspected within 48 hours of receipt. If your order is incorrect, damaged, or missing items, please contact our Customer Service team within 48 hours of delivery. Claims after 48 hours may not be approved.
Newport Lamp & Shade Company is not responsible for stolen or misplaced packages. Please document any damages or order issues with photographs and save all packaging materials. If damages are noted upon delivery, please refuse the order.
Due to natural materials (wood, rattan, wicker, bamboo, seagrass, marble, etc.) and their handcrafted nature, slight variations in tone, texture, finish, grain, or color are normal. Device displays may also vary colors. These are not grounds for a damage claim.
If we identify an unreasonable return pattern, we may restrict or refuse future transactions or returns from such customers.
CANCELLATIONS
Please contact us within 24 hours of purchase to cancel your order. We may not be able to cancel orders after 24 hours. If cancellation is not possible, please contact support@newportlampandshade.com for assistance.
