Newport Lamp & Shade Company is a specialty lighting company with a showroom in Newport, Rhode Island, serving customers and design professionals nationwide. Our small, dedicated team pairs design expertise with attentive service to help create rooms that feel thoughtful, welcoming, and beautifully lit. Led by owner and Creative Director Patrick Dolat, we combine architectural insight, product knowledge, and hands-on showroom experience to guide clients through every detail—from scale and proportion to materials and finish. Our team “speaks lampshade” and is committed to making the process clear, collaborative, and enjoyable.

Her favorite part of the job is being wherever the team is, ideally with a treat involved.
