Handmade by expert ceramicists in Portugal, the lamp bases designed for the Comporta Collection encapsulate one of the most significant and historical crafts of the country – ceramics. The Tamera Lamp Base is a pleasing round shape, decorated with a raised scalloped pattern that tells a tale of the ocean which has inspired the design. Beautifully glazed in a soft pink - a testament to the vibrant color that can be found in the streets of Portugal’s towns and villages. Portugal’s history with ceramic production goes back centuries, and with skills passed down through family generations, the country is known for its distinctive ceramic tiles coating the outside of buildings.
