With a degree in Interior Design and Surface Pattern Design from Syracuse University, Kristen balances her expert eye with your personal style. She has been recognized for being witty and imaginative in both design and personality. Working with confidence and intention, she expands the limits of possibility while classically composing each space. Kristen has extensive experience collaborating with licensed architects, contractors, and artisans, creating a masterful team that in the end will make your home feel personal, wholly unique, and support modern life.
Much of McCory Interiors’ success is a reflection of Kristen’s experiences on and off the court. As a previous professional basketball player, Kristen shows and gives her clients confidence throughout the process and she is committed and mindful while dealing with pressure-filled moments. Kristen spent years living in Luxembourgh and Finland, while taking full advantage of traveling throughout Europe. These experiences fed her continued interest and education in the rich and classic history of design and architecture.
Based in Connecticut with projects ranging from historical homes dating back to the 1800s to 10,000 square foot custom builds. McCory Interiors‘ works have appeared in Veranda, House Beautiful, CT&G At Home, New England Home & BOH, amongst other publications.
In addition to private homes and showhouses, Kristen has been involved in several charities, including Hope Lodge NYC with the American Red Cross Society, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, and Junior Leagues.
