Newport Lamp & Shade Company is pleased to introduce the second capsule collection of hand-painted lampshades by artist Lia Burke Libaire—a continuation of a collaboration that celebrates artistry, craftsmanship, and the subtle power of lighting to transform a space.

This limited-edition release features a curated selection of 10-inch and 12-inch paper lampshades, each individually painted by Lia in her signature style. Known for her expressive brushwork and refined use of color, Lia brings a sense of movement and individuality to every piece. No two shades are exactly alike, making each one a functional work of art.

Designed to elevate both traditional and contemporary interiors, these shades offer an easy yet impactful way to introduce texture, color, and personality into a room. Whether styled on a bedside table, console, or accent lamp, they create a warm, layered glow that feels both intentional and effortless.

This second capsule builds on the success of the original collaboration, expanding the collection with new compositions and color palettes while maintaining the artisanal integrity that defines Lia’s work. The use of paper as a medium adds a softness and organic quality that pairs beautifully with both vintage and modern bases.

To celebrate the launch, Newport Lamp & Shade Company will host a cocktail reception on Thursday, June 25th. Guests are invited to join us in-store for drinks, a first look at the collection, and the opportunity to experience these one-of-a-kind pieces up close.
